We've recently given our xTool D1 Laser engraver an exciting upgrade.
Originally equipped with the xTool D1 10 Watt 455nm laser, our machine was already impressive. However, shortly after our purchase, xTool released the Pro version, which included enticing features like a 20 Watt Diode Laser and rail stop switches. While we missed out on the Pro version initially, we were thrilled when xTool introduced a 20-watt laser module compatible with the D1. Without hesitation, we acquired this new laser head just five days ago.
In addition to the laser upgrade, we invested in the extension kit, effectively doubling the engraving area from 430mm x 400mm to 936mm x 432mm. To complement this expansion, we obtained the extension kit for the enclosure, ensuring a seamless integration.
Our future plans include incorporating the xTool 1064nm infrared laser module, enhancing our laser capabilities further. We're also considering upgrades like fire detection systems, CO2 extinguishers, drag chains, and Z-axis enhancements to optimize performance.
While we're enthusiastic about these upgrades, we're especially pleased with the exceptional service and quality we've received from xTool and our New Zealand supplier, 3DMax.
