We opted for the xTool D1 10W Laser Engraver & Cutter All-in-One Bundle, which includes the "Rotary RA02 Pro roller," along with the essential "Air Assist" and "Honey Comb Base." Additionally, it came with extra trial pieces for initial engraving, perfect for igniting your creative spark.
For our laser cutting and engraving needs, we rely on both Creative Space's "Laserbox" for quick tasks and LightBurn for more intricate projects. LightBurn's efficiency, particularly on our laptop, makes it our primary choice.
Having owned this engraver for a little over a couple of months, we've embarked on a journey of discovery, exploring its capabilities across various materials like wood, plastic, and aluminum.
Learning to navigate the software, especially LightBurn, has been a significant part of this journey. While it offers immense versatility in design and execution, mastering its intricacies takes time. We occasionally resort to LaserBox for simpler tasks, but LightBurn's comprehensive features make it indispensable.

Currently, we're taking it one step at a time, progressing from crawling to walking I call it "Crawl, Walk, Run" and I am still crawling,. We've yet to explore the full potential of the "Rotary RA02 Pro roller," but we're eager to incorporate it into our workflow as we move forward.
I just started playing around with leather on the xTool to make Xaria's product tags which to be honest came out pretty darn good.
Just a quick video of the xTool D1 10 Watt Laser etching clear acrylic... the trick put a black piece of paper behind it. I am going to try different colours but off the bat the black worked.
